Principles of Design

Image
Movement: All of these images contain elements of movement. In the first image, Jay is midair about to land on the table. In the second image, Jayminn is hopping from one table to another. In the final image, a staff member can be seen driving a golf cart. Balance: These images all feature elements of balance. The first image features the radial hole of the table, with a hexagonal structure surrounding it. The second image is symmetric, featuring Jayminn as the central feature. The final image is asymmetric, and follows the Rule of Thirds, with Jay slightly off center but lying on where a theoretical divider of the image into 3rds would lay. Radial Symmetric Asymmetric

Happy

Image
This photo that I took represents happiness because it serves as a reminder of my trip to Kenya and how I discovered and captured the beauty of nature through the safari. This photo to me shows how even the "King of the Jungle" needs time to sleep and be at peace. I took this photo from a Nikon 3500, and the photo is cropped because it was taken from a vehicle about 15 feet away.

Elements of Space

Image
Element: Space Each of these images utilizes the element of space by containing a subject (my good friend Jayminn), as well as a background. Each picture contains a foreground and background that contrasts uniquely. Each of these photos was taken in 0.5 zoom, which adds a slight circular or fisheye effect to the imagery.
